A serious photographer since his mid-teens, Andy worked a broadcast journalist at the BBC for more than 30 years. In 2019 he graduated with a first-class BA (Hons) in photography at the University of Cumbria.
During his course Andy won two prizes for academic excellence and 2019 was shortlisted for the British Council Venice Fellowship.
Andy will undertake commissions including commercial photography, fine art and portraiture. He also runs small-group workshops on a variety of aspects of photography. If you feel you want to improve an aspect of your photography, or even learn some basic skills, Andy will be able to help you. He is also happy to provide half- or full-day one-to-ones.
His commercial clients include the Institute of Directors North West, the Government Actuary's Department and the Happy Mums Foundation, a charity helping mums with mental health problems.
